Our client is an $11 bn-strong, American mobility-as-a-service provider based in San Francisco, with 11,000 employees internationally and operations in over 900 metropolitan areas worldwide. In the wake of Covid-19 and a decline in revenue from ridership, they were charged with deploying a new app/service within their app ecosystem once a quarter. These apps were to be tested in select markets to find other opportunities for revenue. In order to scale their team and deliver these apps, they needed to have a team of strong engineers with deep knowledge of deploying mobile consumer-facing apps on a variety of mobile platforms.
